Director Akiv Ali said, "Since the song is from the point of view of Rakul's character, it was created keeping in mind his carefree attitude and opportunity. Dressed in a sari, Rakul had to face the cold of London while we were all amortized under hot diapers. Vaddi Sharaban is my kind of fun song and we had a lot of fun shooting it.
