The Trailer of the Year 2 Student is here a person who tastes like a Bollywood Punch drink to the flavors of High School Musical and Glee (just as Will Smith has said) and Gossip Girls . The trailer begins with the same old-poor-boy-in-a-rich-college concept – the boy in question is Tiger Shroff, who plays Rohan. The trailer includes Tiger Shroff doing what he does best: the maximum score for stunts. " Bharosa kismet se zyadaa mehnat by kare ," says Rohan, who ends up finding himself in the middle of a ploy and getting expelled from the prestigious college. Aditya Seal is the "villain" of this academic drama, which is perpetually angry with Rohan for having a dream that looks like "a girlfriend ek haat mein, a trophy ek haat mein".
But Rohan knows what to do – he joins The Kishori Laal Shaman Das College and trains like Farhan Akhtar did it in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag to win the Dignity Trophy in the contest of the year. The trailer then goes on to happier scenes like Rohan, Shreya and Mia dancing in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani during a college carnival and Dharma romance scenes before Rohan finally said to his rival " Din tera tha .. Saal mera hoga ." The trailer also presses a bit of space for a love triangle, but no worries because in a scene Mia takes Rohan's hand, which then takes Shreya's hand. Ya.
