A few days after the election commission, the publication of "Prime Minister Narendra Modi" was suspended until, after the Lok Sabha elections, producer Sandip Ssingh declared himself openly to challenge the decision. In an interview, producer Ssingh defended his decision to publish it in April, saying April 5th was a good date for better box office collections. Ssingh also wondered why senior officials were afraid of a two-hour film when in fact they should have confidence in their work to influence voters. He also claimed that his losses as a producer began the day the film was released a week from April 5 to 11.
