An old photo of ex-former Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai was posted by a fan account, leaving fans with mixed feelings. The picture shows the actors sitting side by side, calmly posing for the camera.
Aishwarya wears a sleeveless top and has a cup of tea in her hands, while Salman poses in a dark blue shirt and gray pants. The actors would have met after meeting Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999, but had separated in 2002. Aishwarya married actor Abhishek Bachchan in 2007 and Salman remains single.
Fans had mixed reactions to the picture. While some complimented them, others spoke of some of the most controversial aspects of their relationship, namely, alleged domestic violence. Reacting to the legend of the message invoking nostalgia, a fan replied: "About what? Domestic violence? "
According to a recent Huffington Post article, Aishwarya said after the breakup:" He would call me and talk garbage. He also suspected that I had relationships with my co-stars. Salman denied the accusations.
