"I am yours and you are mine"

In honor of the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, IGN takes a look back at some iconic characters who have fallen on the path, and the lasting impact that they have had on the story. These heroes and villains may not have reached the end of the road, but their lives have not been in vain: they remind you that when you play the game of thrones, you win or die.

Shae may have started as a random prostitute destined to occupy the last hours of Tyrion Lannister before a battle, but she became enamored with the life of the Imp (as well as the seemingly faithful servant of Sansa Stark), despite all the dangers that surrounded him at King's Landing. His apparent devotion to Tyrion and Sansa made his shocking betrayal and later allegiance with Tyrion's father all the more painful, especially when Tyrion found Shae in Tywin Lannister's bed.

In Part 13 of "When I died at the throne game," Sibel Kekilli unfortunately returns to Shae's painful choice.

What was your experience filming your death scene?

It was a sad day and I tried to refuse to act. But Dan B. Weiss and David Benioff, the spectators, they were on the set, and they said, "No, Sibel, you have to do it." I say to myself, "I do not want to do it." "You have to do it." And I was like, "Ok" it was really sad. And the last scene was the scene of death. It is not always like that. But that day … I was scared. When I read the script before, a few weeks ago, I was like "Oh my God, I can not do that." But I had to.

Did you know that this was going to happen?

There are spoilers everywhere. "Do you know what will happen to your character?" "No, I do not do it" you want to know. "But let me tell you. "I'm like," Ah! "

Then of course, my friends said to me, and I thought after I discovered that, that I [was] was going to die in the third season, when I was reading the scenario, I told myself, "I'm still alive. Maybe I'm going to sit on the throne. "And I asked Dan and David, and they were like," No, Sibel. There is no hope. You will die in the fourth season. "I was like" Really? Maybe I'll come back as a white walker? "[They said]" No. Maybe as a zombie, but not as a White Walker. "I say to myself" agree. "

How would you like to remember Shae?

In the good sense of the word, but it is too late. She had the choice: she had money, jewels, look at her, she died and is no longer in the series!

How do you think the series will end?

I J & # 39 I tried to ask George RR Martin, but he said, "I do not know," so I say, "Yeah, sure, you know." And he was like, "No. "I think they just do not want to tell us." Did you see the [Iron Throne] at Rockefeller Center? It's huge. It's the size of the dragons – that's it. is a sign.

According to you, who will end up on the iron throne

I always said Tyrion, but no, he does not deserve it, he killed me.I think the White Walkers, honestly I really believe it.

What do you think of the legacy of the series? It will be once everything is over?

It's a good question. I think Dan, David and Geor People are so mean that they're going to make fans hate the show, I think they're going to say to themselves, "I hate this series." I would have liked never to look at that. "[ Laughs .]
