After an interruption of almost two years, Game of Thrones is back for its first season, Sunday night, and fans are united on one front: Lyanna Mormont always reigns.

The little Lady of Bear Island was presented for the first time in season 6 and immediately seduced the viewers with his sharp and intelligent leadership skills and his firm determination even when speaking to people three or four times older. . This fearlessness continued until the current season, in which she immediately disguised Jon Snow in front of the rulers of the other northern homes, saying, "You left a king at Winterfell and returned to his home." now. "

Here, the Cut talks to 15-year-old Bella Ramsey about her role playing Lyanna, what she has in common with her character and what she will miss most about her .

Everyone was so excited. see Lyanna back in the first episode of season eight. Were you surprised that she became the favorite of her audience as she was?

Yeah, I did not expect it at all. I have just arrived, I have filmed and I will see what happens. I did not know if people would like it or not, because it's a unique character. But I am very happy and very grateful that people appreciate it.

Are you recognized a lot now?

Yes, yes. Especially now that the new season is over, people are starting to recognize me a bit more because it is obvious that they have recently seen me on television.

What did you like about the role you played during the first reading of the screenplay?

I respected her. She was just words on the page, but I really felt the sense of her. I was already looking for her. She's a fool.

What are your favorite things about the character of Lyanna?

I love his strength – mentally, physically, in terms of personality. I love the way she defends what she believes in, no matter the cost or the consequences. I really admire her trust in her, how she can just get up without flinching in front of all these people.

How did you prepare to play this role? Are there actors or characters that inspired you?

I did not actually see Game of Thrones . Looking at it now – I still have not watched everything, but the excerpts I've watched – I feel like Brienne from Tarth. They are kindred spirits. They are both women who defend their beliefs and prove that girls can be as strong as boys and that women can be as strong as men.

Lyanna's face is still severe and serious in every scene. . Have you ever been afraid to change your character?

I think that if the scenes were funny, it would have been difficult. But all the scenes I did were pretty serious, so it was not difficult. Surely if it was a comic sequence, I would find it much more difficult.

Now that you're watching the show, do you want anyone to come to your mind?

I still have not looked at everything because I'm only 15 years old. So I had no idea what was going on, but I really like Arya. She is small and powerful. This superb series of the series Matilda : "Even if you are small, you can do a lot of things. You must not let yourself be stopped by something like this. "

Apart from Brienne and Arya, do you have any other favorite characters?

I like Samwell Tarly well. I really like it, really. I think he is rather curious in the world of Game of Thrones because he is more calm and reserved. I also describe it at a level

Can you tell us a little more about what we can expect from the character this season?

I can not really say anything. You will just have to wait and see.

What will you miss most about playing it?

I think the opportunity to stand up in front of a group of adult men and shame them. I think playing confident characters will also help you to trust yourself. Say you are in a situation where you feel anxious or nervous – you can become a character and work it that way. I will miss it.
