Directed by Punit Malhotra, "Student of Year 2", Bollywood newcomers, Ananya Panday, Tara Sutaria and Tiger Shroff, in key roles. The producers have recently abandoned the first piece of the film called "The Jawaani Song". The song is an adapted version of Randhir Kapoor's original song and Jaya Bhaduri's 1972 film "Jawani Diwani". The song became viral on the internet as soon as it was released and fans left it speechless while praising the performance of Tiger, Ananya and Tara.

At the launch of the song, the new students opened on the number of origin. They called the song Tribute rather than call it a remake and they can not be compared by the original. Tiger revealed that the song was the favorite song of his father and composer RD Burman. He further added that the track is only a tribute from them and they are not trying to make a remake.
This film is the sequel to the 2012 "Student of the Year" film starring stars like Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. SOTY2 will be released on May 10, 2019.
