Hello, I'm Justin Watry. You may remember my articles such as WWE WrestleMania 28: Sheamus should defeat Daniel Bryan in less than a minute, of March 2012, and WWE NXT of October 2016: Bobby Roode, you are the next .
Backstory
is the WWE Superstar Shakeup! Of course, we will discuss all the movements.
2019 WWE Superstar Shakeup: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
The Miz To RAW – I LOVE the fact that it's all about the blow of Sending to the superstar shakeup. Not because I like the move or even thinking that it was a genius. I loved it because it upset me. While Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon were about to introduce the first Smackdown LIVE star on Raw, I looked at my girlfriend and told them, "Oh my God, it's going to be The Miz." C & # 39 was a name I was not expecting, and in the last few months he's been one of the few guys who I thought was staying right there, and he's a perfect match for the blue mark. Plus, his quarrel with Shane O'Mac was still going on, and he was the main person responsible for selecting the media circuit in October for FOX's move, all of which made too much sense … but no. follow his reality show Super surprise I will say GOOD for the moment, but his last jump on Monday night fell flat
Richochet / Aleister Black To RAW – Honestly, these two actions constitute a movement GOOD whatever the place where they ended up Smackdown, Raw, NXT, NXT UK, the moon, etc. I'm looking forward to their breakup just as much as I'm going to enjoy their games. Bright futures. Glad Ricochet and Aleister Black finally have a house.
Cedric Alexander To RAW – One of the best guys of 205 LIVE. I say that without even being a regular spectator. I know the guy is talented. Part of me wants to stay positive. The other part of me thinks that it will end up going very badly. Let's say BAD now, but do not hesitate to prove me the opposite of the WWE. I would love to watch Cedric turn it on every week on prime time television around the world.
Eric Young To RAW – I've never been a fan of Eric Young. I have said it over the past ten years. It does not matter which promotion he works for. I have never had one and still do not have one. With Sanity officially dead and buried, why not be the act of comedy? Triple H may like the serious deranged act, but obviously not Vince McMahon. Certainly a call UGLY .
The Viking Experience of RAW – Even if the new name is zero, let's be realistic: "War Raiders" is not so much better. Both are a little hokey. Just for the simple fact that these two are still NXT Tag Team champions and Takeover clbadics, this sounds like a call from BAD . Worst moment ever. I'm not sure to snatch Ricochet, Aleister Black, Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, EC3, Lacey Evans, Heavy Equipment, Lars, and War Raiders is too smart. Of course, Gargano and Ciampa have come back, but this is more like a change of project. We now have The Viking Experience as War Raiders as NXT Tag Team Champions who did not seem to have real challengers … but who are also new to the red mark. I'm a fan of the duo, believe me. If you ask me, you are a little too shaken.
EC3 to RAW – I leave with GOOD ladies and gentlemen. Yes, it was destroyed Monday night. Yes, Braun Strowman threw it like a trash bin. Yes, he has not done anything yet on the main list. Why do I say something, even at a distance, then? Because I believe that there is more to come. It can be a partnership with Drake Maverick. It may be a twinning with Dixie Carter. It could even be a detour via NXT. EC3 is someone that many people support; he has to turn around for him at some point.
Lacey Evans to RAW – Happy to finally have a home. Like other NXT commands, it took too long to get an answer. The women's division of Raw will need a big boost. Lacey is this star right now. Wait and see. She has all the necessary tools. Easy call here – GOOD moving. Attention Becky Lynch …
Rey Mysterio To RAW Sorry, I say BAD . Trying to say ugly but it'll be nice here. Like The Miz, he goes like a glove with Smackdown. No, no, no, about it. WWE has already tried Mr. 619 at Raw. You all forget this disaster? Yes, it was the brothel and ended after a year. Ditto for The Miz on Raw in 2017 before returning to the blue mark in 2018. Eddie Guerrero spent most of his time as a bonus on Smackdown. Even with Edge. Same thing with Brock Lesnar. Even with The Undertaker. There is no shame in that. I do not know why Mysterio is back on Raw. My part-time schedule or not, it's baffling me.
The Usos To RAW – One of the most predictable calls. Without a doubt, GOOD decision of the company, I would say that it is an excellent decision. The Usos needed a reset and can cause a lot of damage to the team's tag scene every Monday night. Bravo. Once they lost the Smackdown LIVE Tag team titles to the Hardyz last week (ah!), The writing was on the wall. Excellent.
Naomi To RAW – Yes. Once the Usos officialized, I literally counted the seconds until Naomi appeared. I do not get the hype surrounding Naomi. Just another Lana who complains a lot on Twitter in my mind. Since the RAW Womens division is desperate without Ronda Rousey (and Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch), it sounds like a reshuffle GOOD without any controversy. Naomi knows the WWE system, can be with her man and now has new opponents. Fine.
Andrade / Zelina To RAW – Similar to Naomi and the Usos, this was predictable. Once I saw Aleister Black, I asked my girlfriend if Zelina Vega was going out later. Indeed, she was also behind the scenes. Married couples have priority over new relationships. Just the way it should be. Andrade and Zelina obviously were not going to be featured on Smackdown Live, so I was a big fan of that. Much to do in Raw. Good, good, GOOD shakeup.
AJ Styles To RAW – I go with GOOD but with some concerns. Reviewing my 35 WrestleMania picks, Randy Orton went to Raw instead of AJ Styles. It was as if AJ was going to be crowned King of Smackdown Live. Thus, he would stay on Smackdown Live to confirm that the show belongs to him. Simple, no? False. After a year or two of speculation, AJ Styles finally adopted RAW. I guess he's got a new house to build. As the show progressed, it was predictable, but when I entered it, no, I did not think at all about Phenomenal. He really felt like the new cornerstone of the blue mark. Like Edge, Eddie or Rey. I understand but hesitate to think that it will be treated in the same way as in recent years …
SUMMARY: Believe it or not, I like most of the new additions to Raw. Even with these praises, you must always think about the losses. No more Ronda Rousey. No more Dean Ambrose. No more Roman reign. More from Finn Balor. More Bayley (and default Sasha Banks). No more than Becky Lynch (regularly at least). More from Charlotte Flair (who had been on television recently) More from Brock Lesnar More from Elias Many big shoes to fill even with the talent list
Heavy Machinery To SDLive – Everyone on the screen: Heavy Machinery was a comic team of the NXT, in the image of Adam Rose, who played his role, as on the list These guys are here to laugh and have fun, I do not understand the reaction to the WWE for making Heavy Machinery a joke, uh, yes, I'm glad you missed their entire NXT race. have grown up on me, so GOOD just move because it's finally announced what show is theirs .. Smackdown Live It's Up!
Apollo Crews To SDLive – GOOD moving .Great fan and I hope he will do more.In March, his interaction with c Kurt Angle would have been beneficial.
Mickie James To SDLive – Future WWE Hall of Famer. Love his work. To love his heritage. I love the recent comeback and the NXT match against Asuka. I like everything … except this jump to SDLive. She has been neglected for too long. That's why I'm worried if Beth Phoenix returns full-time. It will be news and great news for a few weeks, then it will not do anything. Which is a shame. Mickie to SDLive is a situation UGLY . The alignment of women has just piled on the blue mark. My concern is that Mickie continues to do what she did – nothing!
Chad Gable To SDLive – Will Say ADB moves, but time will tell. Usually, there is always a star that surprises everyone and shocks the world to pierce the glbad ceiling. Gable has the necessary skills to WIN time spent on TV, whether he or she has it or not. In a month or two, Ali and Gable could steal the show on Smackdown LIVE. Two guys who worked hard to get every second of the ring time.
Liv Morgan to SDLive – I feel bad for her. In truth, I feel bad for her. He had to suck on Tuesday night. I think you managed to cross the Superstar Shakeup with your girls Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan, and then inform you that your departure was fired. On your own. It must have hurt. He had to. Unless WWE badociates Logan with The Viking Experience or something else is planned for Ruby, it is ridiculous. Poor daughter. I know it's a bargain and blah, blah, blah … but they'd better have a plan here. For me, it looks like a business that separates three friends who loved each other for no real reason. Please tell me that there is a plan here. UGLY Call to the Surface
Buddy Murphy to SDLive – If you've followed me on Twitter (@JustinWatry) or listened to my podcast last week, you knew it from d. ;advanced. Last month, Buddy was planning on dropping the Cruiserweight championship and heading for the main roster. Was actually linked to pay per view TV by elimination. Anyway, GOOD moves. Like Ali, I think he will prove to the world that 205 Live is more than a "free heavyweight show". The talent is at the rendezvous. I can not wait to see where Murphy will end up on the map.
Finn Balor to SDLive – See above. I've had two exclusives in the Superstar Shakeup. Buddy and Finn Balor. The two eventually jumped the ship. Since The Demon won the IC title at WM35, I guess Samoa Joe will be heading to the red mark with his title for the United States. GOOD good good stuff. Not sure of Joe but certainly for Balor. A perfect guy who can be placed anywhere in the series. Such a big fan of Finn Balor on Smackdown Live, especially with the premiere of the Fox / October series
Elias To SDLive – A jump we talked about Monday with my girlfriend night when Elias (still) gets beaten up. It was as if his time at Raw was over. No recall necessary. My instinct says BAD Elias still has "program of struggle" in front of him. He tells me that he will stand out more because he is NOT always involved in matches. Let's call it in the middle and say, "Well, that's fine." No harm, no fault. I guess it could lead The Undertaker or John Cena to Smackdown Live for one or two appearances. This is an advantage?
Lars To SDLive – Yeah, I call him Lars. You do not have to write his last name if he'll be swept away in a month anyway. I loved the fake Lars to Raw, only for that it does not participate officially yet. Like Cena for Smackdown Live, then back to Raw in the same night. The superstar shakeup lasts a week people. Not a night, so until the end of the week, everyone was eligible. As a Raw star, he could have jumped … and he did it. Good with Lars. It was either him or Braun. Full Disclosure: I had Braun and I was wrong. I think it'll end up being the wrong move, but those two could not be on the same mark. Must be separated. Enjoy the low shots of Lars so GOOD for the moment. The blue mark finally has its monster.
Kairi Sane To SDLive – The WWE ruined it early. NEVER MIND. She deserved this promotion. Finish with NXT and proceed to the next chapter. I will say GOOD to the call, but NOT because she teamed up with Asuka. Much less with Paige who manages them. Seriously, does Asuka need Paige to guide her? If it was Sane and another NXT star, I would have at least one. Not with Asuka. Why could not Asuka just be a partner AND a mentor? Ugh. It feels like a mess just to have Paige on TV. On the surface though, congratulations to Sane.
Ember Moon to SDLive – Great fan. I liked him facing Becky Lynch and continuing the WWE Womens title. Incredible moment. All that she does is GOOD in my book. I hope that it is finally his great moment of escape. It was not happening on Raw. With or without injury. Potential star people. Smackdown LIVE got a major update in the women's division. In addition to the great conclusion of the show Tuesday night, my main delivery was that all the women have succeeded. Interesting.
From Bayley to SDLive – Another name my girlfriend and I discussed after seeing Raw. Right away, she said "Oh, that's why Sasha Banks stopped." I did not even think about this angle, but it seems to be true. If the WWE had told them that they were not content to drop the labels, but that they were dividing into different shows, damn it. Yuck! You talk about a one-two shot. Must be brutal to take. Suck for Bayley. Suck for Sasha. Suck for all the personality and fans of "Boss N Hug Connection". Bayley has talent and can bounce solo. For the moment, this looks like the beginning of a situation ADB .
Roman Reigns To SDLive – Roman Reigns will be the face of the company, while Smackdown Live will visit FOX this fall. He lets Seth Rollins be the man on Monday nights. No more shield. No more Dean Ambrose. No more court to protect. His return to the circle after a battle against leukemia has other ideas in mind. No need to dominate as a universal champion. No need to be the center of attention for three hours. This period of his career took place last year when he left the universal title. Forget Kofi Kingston as the WWE Champion, the night and week's moment has been Roman FREAKIN 'Reigns heading to Smackdown. This is not a demotion, not with the beginnings of FOX around the corner. This is great news and although we all thought about Reigns's skipper, it was still a crazy idea. Not really. Fantasy becomes reality. GOOD The time has come to end the Superstar Shakeup, but it's spectacular for the WWE. Believe this.
ABSTRACT: Some may not agree, but it seems that SDLive has yet won another project. They certainly had the best end of last year. Finn Balor, Roman Reigns and a group of talented women heading for Smackdown Live win over AJ Styles, The MIz and some tag teams who will be heading to Raw. What do you think?
Who won #WWE #SuperstarShakeUp this year?
