According to a report, Kriti and Kartik reportedly stopped talking to each other after Kriti and a few other members of the cast estimated that Kartik was hijacking Luka Chuppi's box office success.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, the comedy revolves around a couple living in Mathura and the complications that ensue from it. Kriti and Kartik play the lead roles in the film which also included Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurranna in lead roles. The film raised 87.8 billion rupees in the 50 days following its release.
