He tells Arjun that he has the potential to become the head coach, a feat that he could never achieve.
While Murthy represents the image of a clbadic father, who wants his "son" to have a safe life with an insured person. pay check every month, Arjun, as a father, represents a new generation of parents. Arjun wants to be a role model for his son and inspire him to achieve whatever he wants in his life. Moreover, unlike Murthy, Arjun does not want Nani to succeed where he failed. He wants his son to be his own man and the end of the film only adds to Gowtam Tinnanuri's progressive narration.
Not only the drama, Jersey has enough cricket time to train you to the edge of the seat. Gowtam knows exactly how much cricket needs to be shown at some point in the story, so the game does not hide the human drama.
