A remake of the Tamil hit Muni 2: Kanchana (2011), Lakshmi will see the character of Akshay Kumar possessed by the ghost of a transgender and himself focusing mainly on revenge.
Like the original, the Hindi remake will also be piloted by Raghava Lawrence. For those who do not know, Raghava Lawrence also plays the lead role in the original films. Although the scenario is more or less the same, the designers have opted for a major change in the Hindi remake scenario. In the original, the main character is afraid of ghosts, but in the Hindi version, the character of Akshay will be a non-believer of supernatural elements.
