– CM Punk became a subject of speculation when a masked man hit the ring at an indy gig last night and apparently, it was really him. Wrestling Inc claims to be able to confirm that it is Punk who appeared masked at the "The Last Knight" event of MKE Wrestling to help Ace Steel beat Daryck St. Holmes with a GTS.
According to the site, there was originally a plan to remove the mask and reveal itself after hitting St. Holmes with his finisher, but this obviously did not occur. Punk waited in his car outside the arena before coming for the appearance, then left immediately after.
The website also states that Punk wore the same sweatshirt that he had worn at a Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament earlier in the day. The MLB Network reporter, Jon Alba, shared a side-by-side photo of the Punk band at the BJJ show and the masked man that you can see below:
