CM Punk made a lot of noise when he appeared under a mask on Friday night. Some people may not believe it's him, but it has been confirmed.
It turns out Friday was not the first time that CM Punk has secretly appeared at a wrestling show since leaving for the WWE. In fact, he donned a mask in 2015 to also participate in a wrestling event.
Fightful reports that CM Punk appeared at a freelance wrestling event on December 4, 2015 titled "Raw Power." He led Kirkutaro in a match against Darin Corbin and Dick Justice. The punk wore a cape and threw salt before the game. During the match, the announcement team called Punk a "nameless mentor".
The goal was for CM Punk to make a big splash in Wrestling Road Diaries 3. However, Colt Cabana and Punk were fighting for Chris Amann's pursuit. So, this has remained secret until just recently.
Apparently, there have been others too, so maybe we'll start figuring out when all those extra secret appearances finally took place.
