Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2 Highlights: Arya Stark & ​​Gendry and Brienne of Tarth are ennobled

Game of Thrones Fever stormed Blues as episode 2 of Season 8 was broadcast today. The night is dark and full of terror and this episode was like a calm breeze before the storm. We were greeted at Winterfell with Jamie Lannister's trial and by the end of the 54 minutes we still had a lot of feelings. Finally, we could see Arya Stark and Gendry setting up and we also cried with joy when Brienne de Tarth became Ser Brienne of Tarth.

Daenerys Targaryen still disagrees with Sansa Stark, but Jon Snow's revelation of his true legacy has helped reverse the situation. Tyrion highlighted the grim current situation and its sequences with characters such as Jamie, Brienne, Podrick Payne, Tormund Giantbane and Ser Davos were a charming watch. Other endearing moments include the emotional meeting of Sansa and Theon Greyjoy and the singing of Podrick Jenny of Oldstones as everyone prepares for the battle against The Night King and his dead army.

1. Arya Stark and Gendry's Hook Up

This is a moment that all the fans of GOT are waiting for, and finally we have had the long-awaited liaison of Arya and Gendry. It was the steam that we were expecting from them with the queen Arya sbad in motion. The fact that it was the last thing she wanted to do if she died during the war did not go unnoticed.

2. Jamie Lannister Knights Brienne of Tarth and Podrick Payne sings Jenny of Oldstones

The most moving moment of the night came when Jamie took Brienne and became Ser Brienne of Tarth. Tyrion Lannister munching Brienne was a nice touch while the magical voice of Podrick Jenny of Oldstones was the calm that reigned before the war.

3. Jon Snow reveals the truth to Daenerys Targaryen

Throughout the episode, Jon showed Dany a cold shoulder and we knew why. Towards the end of the episode, Jon finally reveals to Dany (in front of Lyanna Stark's crypt) that he is Aegon Targaryen. The shock on Dany's face was expected!

4. Trial of Jamie Lannister

The episode heated immediately with Jamie's trial and while Tyrion was doing his best to defend his brother and his true best friend, it was finally Brienne who saved. The punitive anger of Dany.

5. The confrontation between Daenerys Targaryen and Sansa Stark

Watching two powerful women in a world of men is really a show! To watch them fight words? Even better! Dany's truce attempt went awry when Sansa simply asked him, "What about the North?"
