Kareena Kapoor Khan reveals the name of the FIRST person to whom she spoke about her pregnancy after her parents

Last year, Kareena Kapoor Khan received well-deserved applause for her captivating performance in the 2018 Veere Di Wedding film. Her role as Kalindi has inspired many moviegoers and even critics have lauded her for her outstanding performance. However, few people know that Kareena was pregnant with Taimur while the film was about to be screened. The actress, in a recent interview with Rajeev Masand, revealed that after her parents, the producer of Veere Di Wedding, Rhea Kapoor was the first person she had called to inform her that she was pregnant.

In fact, Kareena also revealed that she started filming for Veere Di Wedding when her son Taimur Ali Khan was six and a half months old. "It's incredible that an actor has returned to work so quickly, especially after giving birth. But I was so sure that that was what I wanted to do, I picked it up and took it to Delhi where we had to turn, "said Kareena.

Because Kareena Kapoor's pregnancy, the movie was delayed just before going to the floor.In fact, Kareena revealed that she had sent a text message to Rhea Kapoor, the sister of her producer, Sonam Kapoor, and asked her to do the same with another actress and make the film without Kareena, but Rhea refused.

"I gave a choice to the producer. I honestly sent Rhea a message and told her to listen, I'm pregnant and I just discovered it. In fact, this is the first person I talked to about my pregnancy after my parents said it, because I did not want to take on this responsibility for the presence of a producer. So when I sent Rhea a message, I told her to go get one of the girls and continue with the movie, "Kareena Kapoor Khan said.

We are glad that Rhea did not abandon Kareena and waited. Thanks to that, we have another memorable performance of Kareena that we could see on the big screen.

Meanwhile, on the working front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen with Akshay Kumar in the upcoming Dharma production project titled Good News, due out on September 6th. Kareena is also signed for Karan Johar's upcoming film. Director's project titled Takht, which includes Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor.
