HBO shared new footage of the third episode of the eighth and final season of the popular TV show Game of Thrones. The photos show great tension among those who are stationed at Winterfell as they prepare to face the army of the dead. Several characters take refuge in the crypts of Winterfell, others are on the ground and ready to go to war and some observe all this from a distance.
An image shows Tyrion Lannister and Varys talking in the crypts. In the last episode, Tyrion had expressed his desire to join the war, but Daenerys had told him to stay in the crypts because she would need him alive once the war ended. We also see in the crypts the lady of Winterfell, Sansa Stark. She looks sad, sitting alone and it is perhaps for this reason that she joins her sister Arya on the ramparts later.
Elsewhere, Brienne of Tarth leads the charge to fight wights and White Walkers. Jaime Lannister stands right next to her, as he promised.
What seems a bit worrisome is to see Daenerys and Jon Snow watching the battle from the top of a hill. Why are not they with the rest of them? Did they go to the dragons? But why did not they call the dragons to themselves? They could have saved an hour of walking on the spot. There are a lot of questions and all the answers will be given when Game of Thrones will be back on Monday at 6:30 am on Hotstar. It's also aired on Star World and Star World HD every Tuesday at 10pm.
