Reports suggest that actors and former couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone of Bollywood are both ready to partner for a romantic film.
A Bollywoodlife report stated that Ranbir and Deepika were in talks with Anurag for his next project. Citing a source, the report says that scripts have been proposed to Ranbir and Deepika earlier, but Ranbir is particularly excited about the new model and wants Deepika to be integrated.

While Anurag gave Ranbir his best career film at Barfi, the duo also worked together on Jagga Jasoos. Deepika, however, has not worked with the director yet.
Before Tamasha, Ranbir and Deepika had already been seen in Ayan Mukerji's musical blockbuster, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The film, which had an exciting cast including Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin, then gave films like Balam Pichkari, Batameez Dil and many others. Before that, they had been seen together for the first time at Bachna Ae Haseeno.
Speaking of Deepika, Ranbir had previously stated, "The love that I have for Deepika is like a family. It's very warm, it's about care, pride of her. The facet of love, care and respect has changed but for the better. It's not your type of immature feeling "I love it". It's ripe and it comes with age. We have also evolved positively in our lives.
On the labor front, Ranbir is preparing for the release of Brahmastra, also performed by Alia and Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is the first of his fantastic trilogy. He will also start working on Shamshera alongside Sanjay Dutt. Deepika finished the first stage of Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak shoot.
