Game of Thrones fans were not impressed by the unveiling of a wax drawing by Daenerys Targaryen.
The character, played by actress Emilia Clarke, had no resemblance to her and fans quickly pointed out.
The sculpture was created by the Dublin Wax Museum, which had teased their new addition on Instagram earlier this week.
While images of the commission were posted, people wondered if the museum had recycled old sculptures of Legalos from The Lord of the Rings or Lucius Malfoy from Harry Potter.
Others were ruthless while they ridiculed the museum's efforts: Do not even try to make the wax figure look good. "
Another said," I do not know who this is supposed to look like, but it's certainly not the mother of the dragons. "
" Oh my god YOU DID WITH IT, "cried one.
" Legolas? "
Referring to the famous line of the HBO show," Winter is coming ", commented jokingly:" Wow, the winter has really taken its toll! "
"This is our first wax work this year and we are excited to add an extra woman to the museum," said the manager. Museum marketing, Laoise Keaveney, at the FM104 radio station in Dublin, according to YahooUK.
"Game of Thrones is obviously huge in Ireland and it was filmed in Ireland and we thought it was better to have it. Add a Game of Thrones woman to the museum.
"She is now in our great hall of fame."
The model took six months to the artist PJ Heraghty and is the first character in the hit series to appear at the museum. [19659002] Do you have a history to sell? Contact us at [email protected] or call us directly on 0207 29 33033
