This is one of the big questions we have after seeing Avengers: Endgame.

Sperm fans follow Avenger: Endgame, so jump on the Benatar and get out of here if you have not seen the movie yet!
At the beginning of Avengers: Endgame, Tony Stark and Nebulae are lost in space, adrift on the Benatar. As the only survivors (besides Thanos) of the Battle of Titan in Infinity War, they managed to get out of this world to try to return to Earth. But without fuel, without food, without water and soon without air, things are very bad. Tony Stark records a message for Pepper Potts via his Iron Man helmet, but he does not even know if she can receive it because, you know, in the space. And then, when all hope seems lost and Tony seems almost dead, Captain Marvel arrives and takes them home!
But how did she find them? Well, it looks like Captain Marvel's end-movie scene – where Carol first met the Avengers at their headquarters after responding to Nick Fury's signal – went off-screen in Endgame. With already three hours of operation, why rehash anyway? So, after Carol explained who she was and that the Avengers had explained who they were and that everyone had decided to become friends, the Avengers (and probably the most cosmic ones, Rocket and Thor, were probably able to direct Carol to where they thought Tony might be lost … "on the way back from Titan", let's call him.
Although this begs the question of how they knew that Tony and Nebula had been on Titan.All that the surviving Avengers really knew, was that Tony had disappeared after the Dark Order had invaded the Earth in Infinity War.But it may be that since they fought at Thanos, Thor and Rocket were able to put things together and say "maybe check by Titan." In fact, maybe Carol Danvers herself knew Thanos and knew exactly where to look. [19659007] But without that, it is possible that Pepper Potts is back on Earth receiving these signals from Tony's helmet. that he was recording. And these messages of love could have served as a beacon for Captain Marvel to find Iron Man and Nebula. Tony would have preferred to be discovered better cared for. But hey, it's beating choking in the depths of space!
