Hollywood star and Israeli actor Gal Gadot will turn 34 on Tuesday. This amazing and powerful beauty is known around the world for having embodied the illustrious DC superhero, Wonder Woman.
However, before being recognized worldwide as a female icon that many girls admire, she was first put in the honor for having represented Israel at the 2004 edition. Miss Universe contest after winning Miss Israel at the age of 18. The same year, the actor Tanushree Dutta represented India and ranked in the top 10.
Not only a beauty, Gal showed that she was much more. At age 20, she served for two years in the mandatory Israeli army.
After playing Gisele in three Fast & Furious films, she auditioned for Wonder Woman without ever knowing for what role she had been auditioned. She made her debut as a superhero in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016, leaving enthusiastic fans to see more. But it was with her solo film that she not only launched herself, but also pushed DCEU as a whole. Many critics and viewers have been overwhelmed by the wind of change that the film, directed by Patty Jenkins, has brought to the film world. The woman was no longer an arm for the arm nor a romantic interest for the hero. She is the one who has launched all the blows and shown the world that bravery can be found in anyone.
Gadot was reviewed in the Justice League last year. She was accompanied by Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller. Gal and Patty are currently shooting for a sequel to Wonder Woman, which takes place in 1984. The film also marks the return of Chris Pine, who died in the first film.
Gadot is married to Israeli real estate developer Yaron Varsano since 2008. They have two daughters born in November 2011 and March 2017.
