In the period before Avengers: Endgame we were so busy debating and speculating about who would be released from the latest version of the MCU without noticing the release of Scarlett Johansson.
Earlier this month, actress Black Widow appeared alongside Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and Paul Rudd in by Jimmy Kimmel Live! where the host lamented that this was the case. as "the last rally" of the team on his show. After Downey gave the standard answer approved by Disney, "the future is very uncertain," Johansson leaned toward his co-star and remarked to him, apparently bent-to-the-cheek:
"Do not do not lie, we will never come back. "
Okay, so we were not supposed to take seriously the commentary of the actress at the time, but we saw how Black Widow and Iron Man were the two main dead heroes in the new movie, It would seem in retrospect that Johansson made a joke with his companion Endgame .
That being said, while last week's publication strongly suggested that Downey was now retired MCU, we already know that Johansson returns at least once more for the long-awaited solo film Black Widow . the next movie does not have resurrection touch (and that Endgame certainly gave us the fullest), it is probably safe to say that Cate Shortland's film will serve as the original story for the Heroin. As for the cast, Johansson would be accompanied by Rachel Weisz ( The Favorite ), Florence Pugh ( The Fight Against My Family ) and David Harbor ( of Hellberg ).
Hopefully we can get some more details on the movie Black Widow when production starts later this year. In the meantime, Avengers: Endgame is still in theaters and beats an insane number of box office records.
