The Indian music giant T Series is aiming to attract 10 crore subscribers on YouTube, ahead of the channel of Swedish player Felix Kjellberg, PewDiePie. T Series and PewDiePie have been involved in a neck-and-neck competition for weeks on the throne of first place on YouTube. At 2:30 pm on Wednesday, the T series had 1366576 points ahead of PewDiePie.
The T series took a definite lead on the Swedish chain in March. Led by Bhushan Kumar, the T series had only 30 million subscribers in early 2018 and soared to more than 70 million in a short time. The meteoric rise was propelled by the introduction of new changes in the Indian mobile and data service.
However, after publishing the racist song against T-Series on YouTube, PewDiePie bounced back to the top in early April. Pewds had even released a video titled "Congratulations" in which he was attacking the Indian caste system and accusing T-Series and Bhushan Kumar of hacking songs and "alleged escape from a huge tax".
"India discovered YouTube … Then you see how to solve the caste system … Maybe all these ads will solve your disabling poverty," he said adding a Racist statement, "The Indians are pooping in their brains." Immediately after taking the lead, PewDiePie had tweeted "big lol" with a screenshot of the number of subscribers.

PewDiePie had also released another video "We lost. (Not happy)", where he conceded defeat against T -Series. "Let's be realistic here, the T series has already pbaded, let's just admit the situation, it's over, okay, we'll never reach 100," PewDiePie said.
T-Series, a production and popular music house in India since the 1980s, has 29 TV channels in several Indian languages. It hosts some of the greatest Indian artists, attracting millions of views.
