Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the film, thanked fans around the world for success. The actor took advantage of his Instagram account Tuesday morning to share a video in which he said: "A huge weekend at the box office. Historic moment. Avengers: Endgame has had the greatest opening in film history around the world. Quickly becoming the greatest movie of all time and all that is thanks to you guys … None of this is possible without your support.

Avengers: Endgame scored an unprecedented record for opening day, or 53 crore rupee in India, said filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, renowned for his international work, on Twitter: "Bollywood needs to improve his game. Avengers: Endgame, directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, includes a cast including Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Brie Larson. This is a direct sequel to Avengers: Infinity War and the culmination of the previous 20 titles of the Marvel Film Universe (MCU).
