Kofi Kingston will officially defend his WWE title against Kevin Owens at Money in the Bank.
After Owens turned around last week, Kingston vs. Owens was announced for Money in the Bank during the first part of SmackDown tonight. Kingston did an interview in the ring to open the series and challenged Owens to play the title game.
Owens was an honorary member of The New Day before Superkicking Kingston last week. Owens then announced that he was preparing to win the WWE title and present Xavier Woods with a "powerbomb" apron. but no one believes that Kingston is actually a championship material. Owens said Kingston did not believe it either and was above his head. Woods attempted to attack Owens but was endowed with a superkick.
