The full movie Tamil Devarattam leaked online for download by tamilrockers

Tamil film Devarattam is the latest victim of the Tamilrockers hack site. The film has already been posted online by the website, even though it has just been released yesterday.

Directed by N Muthiah, Gautham Karthik and Manjima Mohan, actors of the film Devarattam, play the lead role and the film takes place in the Madurai countryside. Secondary actors include Soori, Ramdoss, Bose Venkat, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Rajkiran, Jagapathi Babu, Rahul Dev and Singampuli.

The latest movies and television series including Kalank, Avengers: Endgame and the last season of Game of Thrones have also produced to the illegal website.

Although many attempts have been made to curb the activities of the piracy website, Tamilrockers continues to operate with impunity. Last year, the Madras High Court ordered Internet service providers to block 12,000 websites, of which more than 2,000 were operated by Tamilrockers. Pirated copies of films leaked online just after release are causing considerable financial losses for production companies.

Devarattam, meanwhile, is open to mediocre criticism. S Subhakeerthana, of Indianexpress.com, awarded him a star and a half and wrote in his review that the film "is too generic and does not constitute new ground".
