Game of Thrones La The battle against the Army of the Dead ran aground on Sunday and, at least, you probably heard it.
You might not have been able to see it if you were one of the many people Sunday to complain about the darkness of the screen. We complained and felt that we missed a lot of things because we could not see. Even the still images released after the episode were incredibly dark and the darkness seemed to be the main concern of most fans, just after Arya killed the night king and the number of casualties surprisingly small.
Wired has all done us service and interviewed the filmmaker about the problem of darkness, but he does not agree on the real problem.
"The problem is that many people do not know how to tune their TV properly," Fabian Wagner told the site. "Unfortunately, many people are also watching on small iPads, which does not allow to do justice to a program like this."
Hmm, let's say. HMMM.
" Game of Thrones is a movie show that you should watch as if you were in the cinema: in a dark room," he said. "If you watch a night scene in a very bright room, it will not help you to see the picture properly."
Basically, none of this was his fault!
"The spectators decided that he was supposed to be acting from a dark episode," Wagner continued. "We've seen so many battle scenes over the years, so for the film to really have an impact and you take care of the characters, you have to find a unique way to describe the story."
"Another look would have been wrong," he continued, "all we want people to see is there."
And for those of us who complain about not seeing anything at all, Wagner seems to think a little that it does not really matter.
"Personally, I do not have to always see what happens, it's more of an emotional impact," said the man responsible for the images in the series.
Personally, if something happens on the screen in one of the most animated episodes of the most animated series of all time, we'd like to see what it's like. ;is. But maybe it's just us.
