Actress Sophie Turner has legally changed her name after her surprise wedding with singer Joe Jonas earlier this week. The couple tied up after the Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday at the famous Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. The couple would plan to organize soon a more formal function in Paris
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Sophie officially changed her name and now calls Sophie Belinda Turner, Sophie Belinda Jonas . His social media accounts, however, retain his old name.
Joe shared two new photos of his bride on Instagram on Thursday. The photos are not of their wedding, although several videos of the ceremony were found online, and some of them even show sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra.
Priyanka changed her social media nicknames to reflect her new name: Priyanka Chopra Jonas after her marriage to Nick Jonas. Joe subtitled the message "Hot Damnnnnnnn" and received congratulatory messages from Diplo, Chloe Bridges and many others. Diplo was one of the only wedding guests to have shared live videos of the ceremony on Instagram.
According to Elvis' impersonator who officiated their wedding, Sophie and Joe booked the room only a week in advance. They had already talked about knotting, but they had always said that Nick and Priyanka were going to beat him.

Joe and Sophie, however, provide for a more formal marriage. A source told Entertainment Weekly: "Joe and Sophie are a couple who like to have fun and live in the moment. That's exactly what got in Vegas. The couple plans to organize a more formal wedding with his family and friends, but this ceremony was just fun. Joe and Sophie plan to get married in Paris later this year. "
The Jonas Brothers presented their first live awards show in a decade, and Sophie was seen singing with Priyanka and Danielle (Kevin Jonas' wife). The actor will play the lead role in the upcoming X-Men spin-off, Dark Phoenix, in July.
