Mathiyalagan (Arulnithi) is a struggling badistant director whose first film is dropped and he does his best to succeed in the industry. Malar takes Mathiyalagan to his apartment but in the morning, the last is attached to a chair and the first one found mysteriously dead. Police officers enter the scene of the crime and find that CCTV cameras have been broken.
But they are unable to find the key of Malar's apartment. At the same time, Mathiyalagan tries to escape the crime scene and also discovers why his life has rocked into a night ….

Arulnithi Tamialarasu has once again delivered a subtle performance. Although he is not convincing as a young drunkard, we are slowly attracted to his character and begin to feel bad about him. Shraddha Srinath is also quite adequate as a depressed writer.
Technically, director of photography Aravind Singh must be appreciated for the treatment of a film that is happening mainly in a room. The runtime is only 103 minutes, so the film is rather neat. The scary bottom score of Sam CS is another major benefit of the film.
Overall, K13 is another quality film produced by Arulnithi, who has the eye for good storylines.
