The story of Anurag Basu is at the center of discussions in the city. According to Bollywood Hungama's report, a source revealed that due to differences of opinion, Kangana Ranaut had left Anurag Basu's project. The two could not meet after "Gangster" and "A life in a subway"; and so, the filmmaker has now approached Deepika Padukone to star in "Imli". Although Deepika Padukone is currently occupied by 'Chhapaak', the discussions between the actress and the filmmakers would be more than positive.
A little earlier, Anurag Basu denied the news that Kangana had decided not to participate in the film. She was supposed to start filming last November, but dates clashed with 'Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi'. Later, Anurag dealt with another movie, while Kangana was occupied by 'Panga'.
