Recently, Sonali appeared with her friends Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Oberoi on the Neha Dhupia show. She shared her feelings when she lost her hair during chemotherapy and explained how it was an important part of her personality. Speaking of her journey, the actress said: "When she looks back, life has been made with the hair since she has approved each hair product in the past". The actress also talked about her first break via an advertisement for hair oil. Remembering her first chemotherapy session and the night she could barely sleep, Sonali said that she had been introspected and had started looking at things in a very positive way.
