The creators of The Sacred Games recently published a teaser of the second season, titling it " Iss khel ka asli baap kaun? " (Who is the master of this game ?). The teaser barely reveals much, but viewers can be pleasantly surprised to see two new royal pillars added to the cat-and-mouse hunt.
In their brief introductions, the characters of Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey are presented, suggesting that new people might very well change the course of the story. Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) and Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), as well as Pankaj Tripathi, are expected to play a larger role in season 2.

While season 1 saw the departure of many favorites, Season 2 will see Kalki Koechlin play Batya and Ranvir Shorey as Shahid Khan. The new season promises a new path of friendship, betrayal, crime, pbadion and a thrilling pursuit of the belly of Mumbai with these new characters.
The second season begins with Sartaj (Saif Ali Khan) who continues his relentless quest to save the world.City and Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) are confronted greater challenges to maintain its legendary leader position in Mumbai. The intriguing Guruji (Pankaj Tripathi), introduced in season 1 as "third father" of Gaitonde, plays a crucial role in the unfolding of a chain of events shaping the season.
Director Anurag Kashyap directed the track of Ganesh Gaitonde, while Neeraj Ghaywan (of Masaan is the main man behind the title of Sartaj in season 2. Vikramaditya Motwane and Varun Grover continue their respective roles of showrunner and main screenwriter
