Ali on a positive point of working with Salman & nbsp
After the resounding success of Sultan (2015) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), Salman Khan is back with director Ali Abbas Zafar for the third time in the hope of ending a hattrick of blockbusters with Bharat. The film is scheduled for release at Eid. This is a set consisting of Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover, Tabu, Sonali Kulkarni and Shashank Arora, among others.
We recently contacted filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar, who is busy promoting the film, and asked him about it because it is his third film with Salman Khan. What is the good and the bad thing about working with the superstar. Ali revealed that the good thing is that Salman amplifies any scene with his only presence and is a pleasure to work with and the bad side of working with him is that he's not punctual and often makes them wait.
Read his complete answer below:
The good thing about working with him is that everything you have visualized for a scene where he is happening is multiplying. For example, this scene in Sultan where he takes off his shirt. In my head, I wondered, "How are we going to cope?" What really happened on the set was multiplied several times. So, that's a good thing.
Ali added:
The problem with him is that you will sometimes have to wait, because his schedule may discourage you (laughs). But it's alright. This comes with celebrity. And that's the only thing. Then my little chik chik comes to him, it's because of the weather. During the filming, I will see him in the evening and he will say with confidence: "Sir, I will be there before you" (laughs).
He then added,
but he has a sense of naughty humor that pleases me. I think I also have a sense of similar humor, so we make sure to play with each other. So, there are always laughs on the sets. He never makes a heavy situation. He will play on the boards before laughing and, as soon as the camera is on, he rocking drastically. It does not bother anyone in the crew, you know. There are actors who would say, "Sir, when I give this picture, put a black mark here". It's not like that. It's just like water. It flows through everything. On the sets, if we say, "Sir, do you need a private space?" He says, "Sir, it's my job to be here, you do your job." He is funny, I like that.
Produced by Atul Agnihotri, Bharat published on June 5.
