Ranveer Singh reacted to the appearance of his wife Deepika Padukone at the Met 2019 Gala in New York. Deepika wore a Zac Posen dress at the prestigious fashion event, where the theme was Camp: Notes on Fashion.
In response to an Instagram post from Deepika stylist Shaleena Nathani, Ranveer wrote: "LOVE IT !!!!! Smashing !!!!!!!!!!!!!! "And left about a dozen heart emojis. Shaleena described Deepika's look as "Barbie's Camp".
Deepika was not the only Indian star to attend the event. Priyanka Chopra arrived with her husband Nick Jonas, wearing a Dior dress inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Priyanka and Deepika also posed together for a photograph.
Deepika wore Prabal Gurung at the 2018 Met Gala, while the 2017 edition was special for Priyanka, who was making her first public appearance with Nick at the event.
Ranveer frequently leaves comments on Deepika's messages, and vice versa. In fact, it's their PDA on social networks that attracted fans for the first time in their relationship, which was confirmed in 2018. The couple knotted themselves during a secret ceremony held in the lake of Como in November, after six years of romantic relationship.

Deepika is currently Meghna Gulzar's film director Chhapaak, in which she will play a survivor of an acid attack, in front of Vikrant Mbadey. Ranveer, meanwhile, recently delivered two consecutive tubes, Simmba and Gully Boy. He began the preparation of Kabir Khan's film in 1983 and will then move on to the epic drama of director Karan Johar, Takht, in which he directs a cast including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal and Anil Kapoor.
