Regarding the works, Deepika will then be seen in the film Chhapaak, directed by Meghna Gulzar. Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Mbadey play the lead role in the film. The film happens to be a biopic based on the true story of Laxmi Agarwal, a survivor of an acid attack. The release of Chhapaak is scheduled for January 10, 2020. This film is Deepika's first project as a producer.
