Netflix released Monday the first teaser of the upcoming season of Sacred Games, based on the novel by Vikram Chandra. Although the goal of the trailer is to unveil the new cast members, Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey, fans have taken the opportunity to make other requests to Netflix, of course through the same memes.
While several fans wondered if Radhika Apte would return (his character was killed in Season 1), others were surprised to see Ganesh Gaitonde of Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a keen suit. However, the biggest issue that worried everyone was the release date, which Netflix did not reveal in the video or in the two Instagram posts that showed the characters Ranvir and Kalki to fans. "Just tell us the launch date," asked a fan. "Is she the daughter of Gaitonde and Kuckoo," asked another.
Fans also shared their memes in response to the trailer. The first season of Sacred Games was one of the most enjoyable shows of all time. Indeed, a fan asked Netflix if a resurrection of Jon Snow was on the cards for Katekar, who had been killed in the first season. Another fan suggested an Avengers: the endgame-style time travel scenario must be traced to bring back Katekar.

Sacred Games was the first original Netflix series in India. It was created and co-directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, one of the writers being Varun Grover, alongside Smita Singh and Vasant Nath. Motwane shared management with Anurag Kashyap, who will return to co-lead the second season with Neeraj Ghaywan, who will replace Motwane.
Saif Ali Khan will resume his role as Inspector Sartaj Singh and the plot will continue its race against the clock to solve the Gaitonde riddle, which alluded to an imminent terrorist attack in Mumbai. The new season will probably answer some of the burning questions fans have had, such as Taneja's true identity, his nuclear bunker and the role Pankaj Tripathi will play.
More imminent yet, Netflix presents Leila's post-apocalyptic drama in the pipeline, the movie Drumsticks at the end of May and a horror show of Sujoy Ghosh.
