Deepika Padukone, Bollywood actor, who made a grand appearance at the Monday MET gala, stumbled on her dress while she was sipping a glbad of wine in the lobby of a hotel. A video of the gala, shared online, shows her turning in the lobby of the hotel, few people helping her to wear the train of her dress as she approached almost. However, she regains control and avoids falls.
Deepika also shared a video in which she is seen trying her great Zac Posen ball gown for the first time. Deepika was seen in an exaggerated look at Camp Barbie, in tune with this year's theme at the MET, Camp: Notes on Fashion gala.

The MET 2019 gala theme was based on Notes on Camp, an essay written in 1964 by American author Susan Sontag. "The camp is by nature subversive (…) to face the status quo. In the end, the goal of the camp is to make us smile and warm our hearts, "said Chief Costume Institute chief Andrew Bolton.

Vogue India shared a video showcasing Deepika's dress and said, "This is not a dress, it's like art," has noted @deepikapadukone about Sunday's multi-layered confection at @ zacposen's studio, barely 24 hours before the #MetGala "And the first time she saw the dress in real life", we read in the caption of the video.
The video opens with two women unveiling Deepika's dress as she approaches the camera – wearing the pink dress, without the makeup and headgear – and says : "We are literally coming from India. So we rush a bit because we are less than 24 hours from MET Gala 2019 and that is the first time I try to dress myself up.
For her red carpet look, Deepika had large, voluminous hair, adding a small sheen with the bejeweled pink hair band, spectacular burgundy lips and purple eye makeup. She has accessorized her look with a pair of diamond earrings and a statement cuff.
This is the third release of Deepika at the competition. She made her gala debut in 2017 in a simple white Tommy Hilfiger dress. Last year, she was stunned in an elegant red Prabal Gurung dress matching red heels.
