HBO shared new footage from the fifth episode of the eighth season of Game of Thrones. The new photos show the armies of Daenerys Targaryen facing Cersei Lannister at the gates of King's Landing.

Jon Snow and Ser Davos have finally arrived in the capital to join the Daenerys fleet. They are seen with Tyrion Lannister, taking stock of the armies against which they will fight. Even the Golden Company is ready, with its high spears and golden armor, to fight for Cersei. Another picture shows Jon with Varys on a beach. We do not know where the beach is.

More pictures show Daenerys sad after the death of her friend Missandei and her dragon Rhaegal in the last episode. She is seen staring out the window with Tyrion next to her. What is important to note is that she wears fewer braids than usual. Could it be because she no longer has Missandei to help her? Even fans have noticed the detail. "Oh my god, did Dany make her own braids? She does not even have a single person who can braid her hair? Or she simply does not want others than Missandei, "wrote one of them. "It's really sad to see Dany without his braids," tweeted another. "I did not think about Dany's hair! Now, there is no more Missandei to style her Reason # 5893 to explain why missandei will miss me, "reads a tweet.

The last episode of the hit series was criticized for a sensitive dialogue between Sansa Stark and Sandor Clegane. People have accused him of justifying rape and badual abuse for Sansa's character development. Sandor tells Sansa (played by Sophie Turner) that if she had left King's Landing with her, she would not have faced villains like Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish and Ramsay Bolton. What Sansa said: "Without Littlefinger, Ramsay and the others, I would have been a" little bird "all my life," she says using her nickname for her. X-Men: Dark Phoenix, of Turner-Front, spoke to Twitter on Tuesday to ask the HBO series to have credited Sansa's victimization for developing. "bad is not a tool to make a character stronger. A woman does not need to be victimized to become a butterfly. The little bird has always been a phoenix. Her dominant strength is solely because of her. And she alone. #GameOfThrones (sic) "wrote the actor. Turner has yet to respond to the social media rage against the latest episode.

The next episode will air in India on Monday at 6:30 am on Hotstar.
