Aaliya is my name, Salman Khan suggested I change it, says Kiara Advani

Actress Kiara Advani says superstar Salman Khan asked her to change her name because of Alia Bhatt. Kiara revealed it in an episode of "Feet Up with the Stars Season 2" of Voot, reads in a statement.

"Aaliya is my name, Salman Khan suggested I change it because of Alia Bhatt because there can not be two actresses of the same name in Bollywood," Kiara said.

"He suggested the change, but" Kiara "is the name I chose.Now, even my parents started calling me Kiara," she added.

The actress also explained how she had packed Lust Stories without auditioning for the role. Recalling her experience, says Kiara. "Karan Johar has an eye for that, he spots an artist and he knows how to do it."
When Kiara was shooting for a vibrator scene for Lust Stories, Karan said, "Do not caricature, just be cruel and do it, it's a fun scene but do not do it."

Kiara began her career in 2014 with the film Fugly, Kiara appeared in films like MS Dhoni: The Unpublished Story, Machine, Lust Stories, Kalank and Telugu as Bharat Ane Nenu and Vinaya Vidheya Rama, between other.

Kiara is part of Good News, Kabir Singh, Shershaah and the remake of Kanchana.
