"Maharshi" is on theaters Thursday amidst huge expectations and cult fans of Mahesh aspire to see their superstar on screen, a year after "Bharat Ane Neenu". As director, Vamsi Paidipally, who directed the sensational film "Oopiri", this time offers the audience a disappointing and already-seen experience with the basic plot presenting glaring similarities to Mahesh's recent blockbusters . (Mahesh) as CEO of a foreign IT company and his obsession with success, then a surprise evening, the story goes to the story of Rishi, where he despises the failure of his father and aspires to to find a place in the world. and we are introduced to Ravi (Allari Naresh), her roommate, and to Pooja (Pooja Hegde), her lover, and to Rishi as head teacher. However, terrifying comedy and romance make things sour.
Rishi separates from his roommate Ravi and his girlfriend Pooja. Mahesh learns the sacrifice much later through a professor and returns to India to reconnect with his friend, but he is caught in a cliché-clad battle between farmers and businesses (a theme explored by the previous film of Mahesh). how Rishi, obsessed with success, turns into a tame farmer.
From one side, Mahesh impresses with his imposing presence on the screen, on the other hand, his lectures on social topics taint the entire series. Even beautiful, Pooja Hegde could not save a badly engraved role. However, Allari Naresh, the comedic actor turned actor, manages to connect well with the public thanks to his emotional talents and his comical timing. Although they boast of having a group consisting of Jaya Sudha, Prakash Raj, and Jagapathi Babu-, they are doomed to fail in ill-defined roles. In fact, Vamsi should have given Vennala Kishore a much better role to exploit her comic talent. As a result, the comedy and some songs are very disappointing and could reduce audiences.

The film also recalls Tamil movies "Kathhi", "Srimanthudu" and "Bharat Ane Nenu" in some places and the list is endless. Director Vamshi, who has hits like "Brindavanam" and "Yevadu", seems to be losing ground to star-focused films these days. Trying to infuse melodrama, Vamsi took risks. Although he sketched a larger-than-life role for Mahesh, the story lacks the necessary sting.
Next time, we hope that Vamsi discovers a new plot, rather than rehashing old stuff.
