Hrithik Roshan announced on Thursday (May 9) that he was postponing the release date of on Super 30 in order to preserve his film from "desecrated by another media circus", but Kangana Ranaut claimed that he was in the decision from the beginning.

"Despite the film ready, I asked my producers to modify and announce the next appropriate date as soon as possible," wrote Hrithik.
Mental Hai Kya has recently postponed its release date to July 26, to coincide with the theatrical arrival of "Super 30", but producer Ekta Kapoor said that the decision It had nothing to do with Kangana's equation with Hrithik.
