Politics ruined careers – 3 WWE superstars victims of politics behind the scenes

For WWE, the treatment of WWE Superstars is very important and veterans expect a certain level of respect to be reserved for them. However, there have been cases where the superstar career has stopped because of backstage quarrels and this has had repercussions on their lives, essentially without any fault on their part.

Here we examine three WWE superstars whose career was ruined because of politics behind the scenes:

CM Punk

CM Punk was one of the superstars created by WWE, but he was outspoken and never used words, he had a hard time speaking out against the officials. Perhaps one of WWE's biggest superstars, Punk's career was stalled after being relegated to the background after being neglected in favor of Randy Orton vs. Batista at WrestleMania 30.

He left the company and has since WWE and backstage politics that have become quite obvious in the recent past.

Mr. Kennedy

One of the most prominent personalities known behind the scenes political was Mr. Kennedy. Apparently, Kennedy was on a bad tangent and rubbed many people on the wrong side that cost him on May 25, 2009, during WWE RAW.

He was coming back from an injury to the shoulder while he was participating in a 10-man tag team match. In this quarrel, he tried an over-pattern on Randy Orton, which did not go as planned. Orton and John Cena then went to Vince McMahon and complained that they were not working safely. Four days after this incident, Kennedy was asked to pack his bags and leave.

The Nexus

According to several accounts, John Cena also participated in this eviction. The Nexus was flying and became a crowd favorite in 2010. He was opposed to John Cena, Chris Jericho and Edge at the SummerSlam competition. Cena was looking to change the finish, which allowed Nexus to be sidelined. It is still unknown whether he was aware of the final result or not.

Later, on a show with Chris Jericho, Nexus said: "It was the WWE team against the Nexus team … and the final is over. summed up between you [Edge] and me [Jericho] but it was Cena. against two of them.
