Nawazuddin Siddiqui unveiled Friday his season 2 character poster of the Sacred Games. Ganesh Gaitonde, his character from Netflix's first Indian show, gained great popularity among viewers and became part of pop culture with his dialogue, "Kabhi Kabhi toh Lagta hai apun hi bhagwan hai".
Nawazuddin will resume his role as Mumbai criminal ace in Season 2 of the Sacred Games, which will also see Saif Ali Khan put himself in the shoes of police officer Sartaj Singh. Pankaj Tripathi will come back as Guruji, with a bigger role this time. A recently released teaser of the show announced the addition of two other actors to the cast of stars Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey. Kashyap will return to lead the Ganesh Gaitonde track in season 2 while Neeraj Ghaywan will replace Vikramaditya Motwane as Sartaj Singh's track director. Varun Grover will also return as chief writer. Season 2 of the Sacred Games is scheduled to air on Netflix this year.
