While filmmakers in the South are still trying to control the threat posed by Tamilrockers, the piracy website has struck again. Jiiva starrer Kee has become the latest target of the Tamilrockers. Tamilrockers aired the entire movie online, Kee, which surely left the fans totally incredulous. Tamilrockers has regularly broadcast movies online, which has resulted in huge losses for filmmakers. Whether it's Hollywood, Bollywood or Southern movies, the Tamilrockers do not spare any big movies and flee movies of all genres online. Many films that have fled are affected, but measures are also taken to limit their activities.
Kiva is a sci-fi thriller in which Jiivaa plays the role of a hacker. Despite several attempts to limit the activities of the Tamilrockers, they continue to provide illegal copies of new films to people who can be downloaded. Due to the flight of their films, many filmmakers from South India have gone bankrupt. Kee presents the story of a hacker played by Jiiva and all the problems he faces.
The film is open to a mix of public responses. However, the leakage of the film by the Tamilrockers will surely cause damage to the manufacturers. Tamilrockers has recently released such films as Avengers: Endgame, Maharshi, Badla, Uri, Kanchana 3, Romeo Akbar Walter, Lucifer, Captain Marvel and many others. Even the intervention of the Madras High Court could not prevent them from divulging the movies online via proxy servers.
