(WRITERS: as always, this message contains a multitude of revelations for Game Of Thrones otherwise it would be very short.)
—
All right, y & # 39; all. And it's gone. The penultimate final episode of Game of Thrones will air on Sunday. That's a big problem: the show usually stuffs the penultimate episode of each season with huge plays, such as The Battle of the Bastards and the Battle of Blackwater, or senseless twists and turns , such as The Red Wedding.
If the teaser for this week is an indication, it could be another penultimate chapter in the penultimate. This is the first teaser of the year not to dialogue, a major omission that suggests that this episode will not only be filled with people who talk in the rooms.
The last teaser, which preceded a tabloid episode, contained only a few sentences. of Daenerys.
"We won the great war, now we are going to win the last war," she said, before adding a sentence about Cersei: "We are going to tear it off, the root and the stem. "
The wrenching did not take place as well as Missandei could testify, if she still had a head. In addition to the loss of his interpreter and friend, Dany lost several fleets and Rhaegal, the dragon, was killed. But maybe things will change because it feels like a battle is on the way.
The teaser opens on a dark and painful photo of Daenerys standing in front of one of the large open windows decorating the Dragonstone throne room. She looks over the water, presumably in mourning for her lost dragons, while Tyrion walks slowly, his face dark.
According to the subtitling, "(TENSE MUSIC PLAYS)" Then we get the "Next " Game Of Thrones Screen accompanied by "(CLOCK TICKING)".
In other words, this episode is about tension. The question is: Will this voltage be rising or will a peak be reached? The rest of the trailer shows various characters preparing for the fight: Cersei first looks at King's Landing from his castle, a smirk on his face (again, when is what a smirk does not emerge on his face?) This clock keeps spinning (recalling that of Rosemary's Baby ), we see what Cersei is probably doing watch: the armies of the North.
There, outside the castle walls, lies Jon Snow, Davos and Tyrion – with all the remaining forces Dothraki and Unsullied – the armies indeed traveled south to K Ing & # 39; Landing, does not take the time to rest and rest except one night in a tavern that apparently serves freshly prepared Starbucks.

Jon's face then goes to the central screen. The closeup reveals a man who looks incredibly worried. This is not the solved Jon that we saw when it was time to attack the king of the night. It's a Jon who knows something about this is wrong.
Riddled with plans from the Euron fleet and Cersei armies marching through the streets of King's Landing, we see a split second of Tyrion standing in the Dragonstone throne room, always with a sinister air. face. It seems that Dany is in front of him in his ancestral house.
The teaser ends with Euron charging a giant projectile on a scorpion, the weapon with which he used the last episode to kill Rhaegal. We hear what seems to be screaming as Euron protects his eyes and looks towards the clouds, but close captioning does not identify the screeching. (Hmmm!)
We know that a battle is coming, none of this is particularly surprising. What is perhaps the most interesting is that which is not shown. Namely, we do not see Daenerys near King's Landing. We do not see it either with Tyrion (who, we know, moves between Dragonstone and King's Landing at one point in the episode).
Perhaps, overwhelmed by grief, Dany decided to go through her last battle, to order her armies to die from afar for her.
Other omissions include Arya, Sansa, Bran and Jaime. The last episode has left many of their stories unresolved, but they are not found here. It could be nonsense and they will have as much time in front of the head as anyone else. But these teasers have been good predictors of the upcoming episode, and it seems like there will be a lot of conflict between the armies – and maybe even a battle.
