Silver King, a former WCW wrestler, died as a result of a "medical problem" in the ring during a show in London.
This 51-year-old man – his real name, César Barrón – died as a result of an incident at the Roundhouse. place in east London last night in front of a horrified audience.
Barron was performing at the "Greatest Show of Lucha Libre" with former WWE star, Juventud Guerrera, when the tragedy struck.
Video of the social media shared event shows that Barron collapsed in the ring, Guerrera attempting to knock him over to corner him as part of the show, before realizing that something was wrong turned.
A host of wrestlers paid tribute to Barron, best known to the western public as one of the great luchadores of WWE, then rival of the promotion, in the late 90s.
Silver King has also played on the big screen, after appearing alongside Jack Black in the comic wrestling movie Nacho Libre in 2006.

Barrón played in the WCW (World Championship Wrestling) between 1997 and 2000. He was then working without one of the famous Mexican wrestling masks.
