Roshan Taneja, acting coach, died Friday night after a prolonged illness. He was 87 years old.
According to family sources, Taneja died "peacefully" at home at his home. He was suffering from pancreatic cancer.
The cremation of Taneja will take place Saturday at 16:30 in Santacruz.
Taneja was the former head of the acting department at the Indian Institute of Film and Television (FTII) in Pune.
He trained actors such as Shabana Azmi, Om Puri, Naseeruddin Shah, Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Rakesh Bedi, among others
