Game of Thrones season 8 episode 5: All major deaths

Eighth and last seasons of Game of Thrones The penultimate episode, entitled The Bells, was full of significant deaths of characters. Many who were part of the series in his first season met their creator.

Lord Varys: The Whisperer Master and native of Lys, Lord Varys was the only player in the game of thrones who cared about what happened to the common people. For him, people were above all. If he was a citizen of our world, he would have been responsible for inaugurating democracy. When Ned Stark asked him who he was serving, Varys replied, "The kingdom, my lord. Someone must do it. As kings came and went, he stayed by their side. He did not think that Robert Baratheon was a good king, so he did not stop Cersei Lannister from getting him killed. Towards the end of his life, he served Daenerys Targaryen and considered her a good future queen. But that was before she started to burn people alive. After discovering Jon Snow's true lineage (and perhaps his decency, perhaps), he immediately began working to make him the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms. However, Tyrion Lannister betrayed him and Daenerys burned him to death.

We will remember Varys (and remarkably consistent Conleth Hill's performance) for excellent lines like this: "The power lies here." where men believe that he resides. It's a tower, a shadow on the wall. And a very small man can project a very large shadow.

The Dog: Sandor Clegane finally had the chance to take revenge on his brother. He died in the process, but before he died he punished the man who had made his whole life a living nightmare. After repeated attempts to kill him did not work (the mountain being essentially a zombie), he despaired and thought that only one way to kill his brother. He pushed the mountain down a corridor in the red dungeon and fell with him into the raging fire.

The Mountain: There was enough of Gregor Clegane in this zombie to be hateful to his younger brother. When they were children, Gregor had pushed his brother's face into the fire, healing him half of his face for life. The dog gave him the salary he deserved and died in the process.

Euron Greyjoy: The Euron we know in the books and the Euron of the series are totally different characters. Euron's series was written as a crazy, lush and sadistic Ironborn warrior, far from the cunning and ambitious explorer of the book. He was killed by Jaime Lannister in the show. Unfortunately, the Ironborns, like the Dornish, also had a crush on the show.

Jaime Lannister: After a sort of redemption, Jaime Lannister became the old killer we knew from the beginning of the show. seasons. Hankering after Cersei Lannister, doing things for her, he would not do otherwise, and just be cruel in general. It was a strange choice for a man who seemed completely disgusted by his sister when she refused to join others in the war against the king of the night. He died below the red dungeon with his sister while they were trying to escape

Cersei Lannister: Cersei Lannister was confident in his victory after Rhaegal, one of Daenerys Targaryen's two dragons, had was shot down by Euron Greyjoy from Ironborn. But her smugness slowly dissipated when she saw how Daenerys' last and biggest dragon, Drogon, was unstoppable. Finally, she died with her brother under the red dungeon.
