The Central Film Certification Commission (CBFC) has always made headlines for suggesting unnecessary cuts in the film. The censorship committee again made headlines for using its scissors on Ajay Devgn, the next rom-com by Rakul Preet De De Pyaar De .
The CBFC suggested that officials replace the bottle of alcohol. in the hands of Rakulpreet with flowers in the song Vaddi Sharaban. It's shocking but it did not happen for the first time. Last year, the CBFC had suggested to Padmaavat manufacturers to hide the belly of Deepika Padukone in the song Ghoomar. The change was made later with the help of CGI.
Speaking of changes, an industry sector told Bollywood Hungama, "Let's wait for the release of the film. We need to know the context of the scene before drawing conclusions. In addition, the part where the flower was put in the place of alcohol might not be part of the mentioned song – it could be a totally different sequence. Even then, it is very strange that such an order was pbaded by the CBFC. We show heroines drinking from 55 to 60 years in our movies, or more. It was so taboo and now it's perfectly acceptable. And the visuals of 'Vaddi Sharaban' indicate that the producers shot with clbad. This does not seem in any way derogatory. So why did they ask for such a change, it beats me!
