HBO released the trailer for Game of Thrones: The Last Standby a two-hour documentary aired a week after the last episode of Game of Thrones season 8 which take a look behind the scenes of the show. The documentary will provide viewers with a detailed explanation from the creators of the series about how they drove the series to an epic conclusion, as well as about the meaning of the experience for those who have spent years realizing the long TV show.

"It's strange," says co-host DB Weiss at the start of the preview. "Here we are at the last reading table – it's like looking around and seeing your family." The camera thanks Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow in the series, while the creators address the reading session. The documentary highlights the "biggest season of the series" and features impressive setstyles, prosthetic make-up for the characters and filming of Emilia Clarke's latest scene, Daenerys Targaryen.
Toward the end of the trailer, veteran director David Nutter, who is behind for episodes like the first game of Season 8, Winterfell says: "It's a dream job for a director . The show has saved my life. "
