Jaime Lannister Alive Game of Thrones Season 8 Final Theory

In the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones Jaime Lannister died with her twin sister / lover in her arms when the Red Dungeon collapsed. It was a lazy end, albeit just right, for those characters who came into this world together and left it together. It even corresponds – slightly – to Valonqar's popular theory.

But even though there is no logical way to survive this downfall, fans are convinced that Jaime Lannister will be striving to break out of the ruins of the dungeon in the sixth episode. The theory – which has been apprehended on the Internet – is based on social media conjectures by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and the editorial strategy of Game of Thrones by EW Maester James Hibberd.

Now, I understand why fans would believe this theory. No one who died remains dead on Game of Thrones . At this point, it has become a sort of joke that characters are dying and coming back by various means. The writers took a lazy pace to shock the fans and then reverse those deaths. In fact, Jaime was apparently dead when he was attacked by Drogon in Season 7 and then came back abruptly in the next episode.

It is therefore not impossible that the writers are content to bring Jaime back again. Why not?

But Jaime Lannister should not return in the last episode of Game of Thrones . As disappointing as it may be, the authors of Game of Thrones gave him the only death that makes sense. He died with Cersei in his arms. That was the only way for him to leave. It was the end of his character arc. Even though it was boring, it was right.

To let it out of the rubble with or without it would be absolutely absurd. What is sad is that I would not let these writers go by to do exactly that. Logic be dammed.
